Mijoted is a recipe book, a meal planner and a shopping list, for you and your household. We collect as little data as possible, only to make the service work. No advertising, no selling of data, no tracking from one app to another.

Usage analytics (only if you accept it): technical account identifier, actions in the app (import started, recipe planned, shopping list created, Premium screen viewed…), device model, app and system version, and, in the published app, anonymised screen recordings (text and images masked)To understand what is used and what gets in the way, to improve MijotedConsent (screen shown before sign-up, which you can change at any time in Account › Privacy & account)
Internal usage statistics, computed from data the service already keeps: when your recipes were created, planned meals, items on your shopping list, completed cooking-mode sessions, shares, the outcome of your imports (successful or not), last sign-in date, your account’s App Store or Google Play countryTo run and improve the app: how many people use it each day and each week, what gets used, where imports fail. Only we see these statistics; nothing is added to the app to produce them, and nothing is shared with third partiesLegitimate interest

We do not collect your location, your contacts, your address book or any advertising identifier. Photos only leave your phone when you add them to a recipe or an import. Reminders (tonight’s dinner, shopping…) are calculated on your phone.

Usage analytics: nothing is sent until you have accepted. It does not contain your name, your email address, or the text of your recipes or feedback; it is never sold or used for advertising or to follow you from one app to another. You can refuse it or stop it at any time (Account › Privacy & account): nothing more is sent.

The mijoted.app website: we measure the site’s audience anonymously with PostHog, hosted in the European Union, without cookies and without storing anything in your browser: pages viewed, clicks on buttons (including those to the App Store and Google Play), where the visit came from (referring site, campaign parameters in the address), browser and device type, language. The IP address is only used to calculate a visit identifier that changes every day; it is not kept. No screen recording, no link with your Mijoted account. Legal basis: legitimate interest (knowing how many people visit the site).

Artificial intelligence

To read a recipe with no structured data, a photo of a cookbook or notebook, or the text of a video, we send that content to Google’s Vertex AI (Gemini models), through an endpoint located in the European Union. Google does not keep this content and does not use it to train its models. Screenshots sent to read a caption are not kept.
