These terms govern the use of the Mijoted app, published by JUNKAN (SASU, RCS Nanterre 841 055 270, 109 avenue de la Paix, 92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux). By creating an account, you accept them. On iPhone, Apple’s standard licence agreement also applies.
1. The service
Mijoted lets you keep your recipes (typed in, or imported from a website, a video or a photo), plan your meals, prepare your shopping list and share all of this with your household. Some features read recipes with artificial intelligence: always check the quantities and steps, as automatic reading can make mistakes.
2. Your account
An account is created with Apple, Google or a link sent by email. You are responsible for what is done from your account. You can delete it at any time in the app (Account › Privacy & account › Delete my account).
3. Free plan
The free recipe book includes: up to 15 recipes, imports from a website, a video or a photo, the meal plan for the next 7 days (past days can still be viewed), the combined shopping list, cooking mode and recipe sharing. These limits may change; a lowered limit never removes anything you already have; only additions beyond the new limit are blocked.
4. Mijoted Premium
- What’s included: unlimited recipes, a meal plan with no date limit, past or future, automatic filling of meals, shopping list sorted by aisle and in-store mode, inviting members to your household. One subscription covers all members of the subscriber’s household (6 people at most), for as long as the subscriber belongs to it.
- Price: €4.99 per month or €39.99 per year, all taxes included, in France. The price shown in the app before purchase is the one that applies (it may vary by country).
- Free trial: 7 days for a first subscription, subject to eligibility as determined by Apple or Google, at no charge during the trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial, the subscription you chose starts and is charged at the end of the trial. During the trial, 50 imports at most over its whole length (all types combined); they become unlimited again as soon as the subscription starts.
- Automatic renewal: the subscription renews automatically for the same length and at the same price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Payment is taken by Apple or Google from your account.
- Cancellation: you can cancel at any time in your store’s settings. To avoid being charged for the next period, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. In the App Store settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period; Premium stays active until then. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds: according to the rules of Apple or Google, who handle the payment.
- End of Premium: your recipes, meal plan and lists are kept, and your recipes remain viewable and cookable. Premium features stop and additions beyond the free limits are blocked. In a shared household, no member can add recipes or plan meals any more, and sorting by aisle, in-store mode, automatic filling of meals and invitations stop, until Premium returns; the shopping list remains usable, and any member can leave the household to go back to the free recipe book.
5. Payment, cancellation and refunds
Mijoted Premium subscriptions are sold by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), who are your sellers: payment, cancellation and refunds are handled with them, under their terms.
- Apple: cancel a subscription, request a refund.
- Google Play: cancel a subscription, refund policy.
For any question or complaint about the service itself, write to us at contact@mijoted.app.
6. Your content
Your recipes, photos and notes belong to you. You only allow us to store, display and process them to make the service work (and, if you choose, to share them with your household or by a link). Recipes imported from a website or a video belong to their authors: they are kept for your private use, with a link to the source. Do not import or share content you do not have the right to use; we may remove a share that has been reported.
7. Reasonable use
To protect the service, imports are limited in frequency (per hour and per day). It is forbidden to misuse the service, to extract its data by automated means or to harm it.
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep Mijoted available and your data backed up, but cannot guarantee this at all times. Check recipes before cooking, especially in case of allergies: Mijoted is not responsible for the information in imported or typed-in recipes.
9. Changes and governing law
We will let you know in the app of any significant change to these terms. They are governed by French law. For a complaint about the service, contact us at contact@mijoted.app; for a payment or a refund, contact Apple or Google (section 5).
